Grave Belles invites submissions for our upcoming anthology Slasher Summer, a celebration of blood-soaked sunshine, final girls, and the horrors that unfold in the daylight.
We’re looking for slasher stories set in the heat of summer. Think camps, road trips, small towns, festivals... anywhere the sun shines and something sinister follows.
Details:
• 5,000 to 10,000 words
• Open to female-identifying and non-binary authors
• Payment: $20 USD
• Deadline to submit a story: August 31, 2026
WE WILL NOT ACCEPT STORIES THAT FEATURE AI USAGE IN THEIR CREATION.
